I need to extend the phone line as im moving the socket. Question is, what is the best procedure to join 2 telephone wires, are there special connectors for this?
I was told that i need these connectors but not sure where to get them from? http://www.wikihow.com/images/8/80/Phone-wire-tangle%2C-exterior-riser%2C-London%2C-UK-4.jpg

Which socket are you planning on moving? If its the master you are not allowed. (legally anyway!)
You can get them on Ebay for pennies.0 -
Are you removing the current socket or would an extention cable not do?
Cable can be picked up off Amazon/ebay for about £3 for 10 metres or locally at Homebase or even Argos for about £8 for the same length (including male/female connections)0
