yes, with a good signal strength (unless you live really close to the transmitter)Ex forum ambassador

Mine works fine in the loft with a small mains amplifier, transmitter is around 11 miles away!0

I've had freeview working with a small indoor aerial with no amplification but... I've also had it not working with a small indoor aerial.
It does depend on signal strength.0 -
Have it working on an external aerial in the dining room and on an indoor aerial in the bedroom.0
