Hi
I have been digging footings for rear extension. I know i have to go 1m deep, But how wide do they have to be?
450mm or 500mm i think.
Any help would be nice.
Cheers

I presume you're going to pour mass footings. Ask your building control office what they like. 450mm round here for single storey (normally) and 600mm for two storeys.0

Yes single and mass pour. I had 450 in my head.
But as you say i will check with building control to be on the safe side.
