Has anyone here ever phoned ATOS on 0800 2888777

I just read this link

which says not to be given to patients for clinicians only....

So if you have rung that number what information were you after and did you get what you wanted? What happened?

I need to know so I know whether to keep advising people to ring that number.

I know that
Option 1 is ESA50
Option 2 is I can't remember
and if you opt for either of those you get a recorded message that says basically we can't help you - phone the DWP
Option 3 is the "Anything else" option where you presumably speak to a human.

Does anyone know how ATOS computers link to DWP computers? For example you change your address with ESA BC, how and how quickly does this get updated on ATOS computers? Does ATOS have access to the same software packages that hold customers data?

On their website they say claimant to call that number to ask about/move the WCA appointments...... And they have an FAQ

Hello this is Atos Healthcare Customer Relations

This DWP link is aimed at GPs/Clinicians who may wish to contact an Atos healthcare professional. The telephone number is our main contact centre number which is also available to benefit claimants to contact us. However as there appears to be some confusion regarding the note 'number not to be given to patients' we will take this forward with the DWP.
For any change of circumstances, including change of address, the claimant should contact their Benefit Centre and they will then update our records.
