Cornhill HomeWorker insurance discontinued ?

I received a letter this morning from Allianz stating they are no longer offering HomeWorker extension to Cornhill Home Insurance policies. My yearly renewal letter from Cornhill also arrived this morning.

This leaves me with a couple of weeks to sort out replacement insurance as I run a small business from home.

Any good companies to deal with ? I've been with Cornhill for years but obviously they aren't going to be any good for me this year.

What type of work do you do?

Many mainstream companies will cover for clerical work but will need more info if you do other things. They would want to know about type of work, stock, cash / cheques, number of workers, suppliers / contractors visiting, customers visiting, if you have separate business insurance, if the home address is registered as a business address.

I run a small electronics business designing and building things for cars (gauges / datalogging etc).

I don't have any visitors or employ any staff so that isn't a problem. I do however have plenty of tools. raw materials and such.
