I have just recieved back this information about Windsor.

We do tapas for a tenner on Sunday from 6pm, all day Monday, Tuesday and Wednesday. We close at 11pm but all last tapas for a tenner orders have to be put through by 10.30pm. We also stipulate that no more than 5 people to be able to use this offer.

Tried the Norwich outlet this week, 3 30pm on Tuesday afternoon, only customers there.
Food was very good, unlimited quantity and the quality very good, would recommend to anybody.
The waiter informed us that the promotion was ongoing, and also told us some customers come in and order EVERY dish on the menu, which is 26 items!!!.
  • I called the Manchester Deansgate La Tasca a couple of weeks ago to check the availability of the offer and they told me it is long term and the only restriction is not on Fri or Sat. I called again today to book in and was told it had to be a table of six people! A bit of a con I think!

Just spoken to the Cardiff Branch, it's available Sunday - Thursday from 12.00pm until 10.00pm, no more than 6 to a table.

Went to Romford Brewery branch last night. Can confirm that the Tenner deal is Sunday - Thursday, and it's quite well advertised, with a sign at the entrance and the special menus on all the tables.
They seemed quite encouraging with regards to the menu, suggesting we order 7 dishes or so then order more as we went along.
Anyway I have to say it was all excellent. The atmosphere was enhanced by a very lively Salsa lesson going on upstairs too

Me and my GF decided to try out the Brighton one last week, on a Thursday evening. The place was quiet, the service was fantastic, one of the few times I have happily tipped higher than the standard 10%.

I would say, that most of our food was great-fantastic - the staff activelly sort our next selection of dishes, and never did we need to attract their attention. I think some of the portioning needs to be more balanced, i.e order a spicey potatoe dish would arrive with about 8-10 half roast spuds in the bowl, and ordering a spanish omlete, would arrive with one small slice. But we did not experience this fried to within an inch of its life that others have, adn almost all dishes arrived hot, not luke warm.

As a couple we found it ideal for sharing and trying out dishes we would not have ever ordered otherwise.

All in all a great experience with fantastic staff, we will be visiting again, with friends.

Wow, me and the fella love La tasca and go to the one in Didsbury / Manchester city centre every Sunday!

Will work out if the tenner deal is better value than the offer we use. My boyfriend has a City card which I think gets us 20 - 30% off the bill. We usually go to the one on Deansgate if we are going to the cinema afterwards, as the card he has also gets us 2 for 1 cinema tickets at AMC on Deansgate. All in all the night works out about £15-£20 cheaper!

    I'll try and find the website and let you know as you are clearly a fellow Manc ;

    Thanks again for the tip!

    Hi,

Me and OH went here last night after reading this thread (great post mancbrel!) and it was lovely.

We did book a table as we weren't sure how busy it got but when we arrived at 6.30pm it was fairly quiet so we were told we could sit wherever we liked. The guy who greeted us was very friendly, explained the deal and was very helpful. I think he was the boss cos he had a shirt and tie on whereas the other staff had uniforms on, but they too were all very helpful.

The food came within a reasonable time, it was just at the right temperature and was well presented. Very tasty and lots to choose from - even for a weirdo veggie like me who doesn't eat the 'usual' veggie muck! The staff were all very polite and attentive and noticed fairly quickly when our plates were empty and ready for refilling!

It did get a lot busier around 8.30pm and we did have to attract the staffs attention for the bill, but I really couldn't fault the place TBH. And coming from a picky old c0w like me that is saying summit! :D

They had a lovely outside seating area with patio heaters too but it was p1ssing down so that stuffed that up! :D

Great decor and ambiance - relaxed atmosphere - great for romantics or a night with friends. There were some children in there too but not sure if they get a separate menu or anything - I know my DD5 wouldn't eat much on the adults menu!

    Well recommended! :T

Here are the time and day details for the Tapas for a Tenner in Derby:

Thank you for your enquiry. From the 4th of June Tapas for a Tenner will be available from Monday to Wednesday from 11am to 11pm. Until then it is available Sunday to Thursday after 6pm for groups of six or less.

    Hope this helps

    Kind regards

    Anna
