Section 75 Claims advice

in Credit cards
Hi. I booked a holiday in UK costing £500 and paid using my credit card - the booking was directly with the holiday company, not through a third party.
I booked based on photos, accommodation descriptions on their website but just before going i found some really poor reviews about the accommodation so i e-mailed the company to express my concerns. They responded stating reviews - were unjust and i had nothing to worry about - wrong.
The accommodation stank of damp, was filthy, dated, poorly maintained and the bedroom was full of mould so much so i could draw in it with my finger!
In addition facilities (pool and shop) advertised had limited opening times not advertised on the website and as i swim every morning this was also a reason i booked this site.
I have raised a complaint with trading standards anyway but also claimed against my credit card company who have flatly denied my claim stating 'they did provide the service and facilities' as advertised and that the fact that the accommodation was not up to the standards could not be taken into consideration.
Does anyone know if this is correct or is my credit card company just fobbing me off, i was greedy with my claim either and only asked for half of the fees back.
Thanks for any advice

Was that in writing or was that what someone said on the phone?
Do you have evidence - eg photos? Review sites are less valuable.0 -

Thanks for your response.
They denied my claim in writing.
I sent in my the original e-mail to the company before i visited expressing concern, and their response. Actual photos of the accommodation including three showing the extent of the mould.0 -
Did you complain whilst you were there ? Did you stay for the full holiday ?
Quality of service isn't covered under Visa chargeback regulations so your card issuer is correct as they did provide you with accomodation.
If you want to go down the Section 75 route, you will need to be able to state breach of contract.0 -
