Anyone know of any material/cloth which is adhesive?

I am looking for something like a sheet to cover the ceiling but am wondering if anyone knows of some kind of Self Adhesive sheet I can just hold up and rub it onto the ceiling and it will stay there nice and flat?

    I had the infamous wood chip wallpaper on the walls of my lounge when I moved in.

    My decorator steamed it off and then put lining paper on the walls and ceiling - it's not self adhesive tho.

    It makes for a nice finish after it's painted.

    Use a sheet off a teenage boy's bed.

    That should be sticky enough to adhere to your ceiling.
