  • I always use https://www.goofbid.com used to be called goofbay. Very good for me, just make sure you give it the correct ebay login details as thats the biggest error you can make.

it also has a handy feature where you can bookmark a link which pops open a new page window with the ebay item your looking at prefilled.
if i had known then what i know now

    Auction stealer for me.

About 3 free goes per week, or paid subscription.
  • I use goofbid it failed me once when it was goofbay but that is out of countless bids. It is free and unlimited and if I really really wanted something I don't think I would ever leave it to a snipe tool.
So you're Red John? I have to say I'm a little disappointed.

Hi goofbid for me too and have had a few successful snipes. Like the poster above, it has let me down once and I did wonder if it was because I tend to let it bid in the last 5 seconds and it may have got knocked out because of the sheer number of last minute bids happening.

AlthoughI would bid manually for an item I really wanted I can only do that on a convenient time ending.

Another good one is gixen, been using it for about 18 months and never had a problem.

    You could also try http://www.justsnipe.com/index.asp

This offers a free service uo to a certain amount per month I think.

    I also use goofbay /goofbid.

You can set up a snipe on a couple of sites but make sure your ebay user names / passwords are all the same so that you don't outbid youself!!

Yes, you need to consider the TOTAL price including p&p. Simply think yourself "What is the maximum I am prepared to bid?" Subtract the p&p and you have your maximum bid price.

I recommend bidding a few pence just above natural price points, so instead of a logical £20, bid £20.50 just in case somebody else bids £20 just before you and would otherwise beat you to it.
