Creation Card not listed on site?

So, I noticed this:
https://apply.creation.co.uk/creation-cashbackcard/web_channel/cards/microsite/carddetails.aspx?termsAndConditionsCode=MC1012&MC=18400010&operatorCode=WebMC&responseCode=CBK023
I currently have an Aqua reward, Capital One classic extra and a Lloyds Platinum account and it seems that once I get the £100 from Aqua, the creation card is a good card to use
If you do the maths, you either get the £200 cashback, once you spend
£13333.33 on petrol/supermarkets in a year
OR £40,000 on "all other purchases"
Considering that most people would probably use the card for both things, then you get the max of £200 somewhere between the range of £13333.33 and £40,0000
I don't know any one who spends 13K on fuel/food and I personally don't know any one who spends 40K/year on "all other purchases" but these types of people must exist
Any way, notice how the Capital One Classic Extra is listed here:
http://www.moneysavingexpert.com/cards/cashback-credit-cards#longTerm
but not the creation card?
Even some of the "top cards" only give up to 1.25%, so this is 0.25% more (At least on supermarkets/fuel)

I agree. The article is biased towards cards that give high headline rates for big spenders, and introductory bonus cashback. They're good cards to play for these bonuses, but not as one's main long-term card. I think the article should focus on the best long-term cards.
I think the 0.5% card comes into an easy-get category, and this is why it's included (and it was included before aqua was added, now it could be argued it no longer should be included). The Creation, with the minimum age/income limit, is probably a little more difficult.
A good long term strategy, imo, is the aqua card, then/with creation for supermarkets/petrol, followed by a 1% cash-lite card (e.g. amazon.co.uk mastercard).
The capital one/amex can be used for a temporary higher rate at high-spend times. The barclaycard is an interesting one, with the fee waiver it's currently the best card to have for a year to put high-cost purchases on. Long term, it depends.0 -
See that's what I would have thought as well,as well as the possibility of the Santander 123 if it makes economic sense for you (as long as you recoup the £24 ofc)0

Have just applied for this card and have been given a very generous £7,500 credit limit. Plan only using this card on supermarket shopping and petrol. Also have a Halifax Reward Credit Card which pays you £5 every month as long as you spend £300 during that period and then plan using my Amazon Credit Card which pays 2% cashback on purchases from Amazon and 1% cashback on purchases with everyone else (not actually cashback on this card but Amazon vouchers.) Always pay off credit card balances in full every month.0

Interesting, just did an application online for this one. It requires some sort of lookup "Find the address of your bank", and failed to find the address for my Citibank sort code (30-00-45) - so I had to use a different account here. It's quite odd because it did actually pop up with the name of the bank (Citibank International Plc) but somehow couldn't find the address, and apparently that's required, and can't be entered manually.
Also, FYI, for anyone interested, the actual details for the bank issuing this card appear to be:
Sygma Bank UK (Creation)
Chadwick House, Blenheim Court, Solihull B91 2AA
0871 376 9214
There appears to be an introductory BT promo offer: 0% for 6 months, 5% fee.
The APR is advertised at 18.9% (A), but it looks like it could also be issued at 21.9% (B) or 24.9% (C), which I guess are the three credit levels?
The application can be submitted online (no physical signature/post required) - and my result after submitting was "We will review your application and contact you in writing with a decision within the next 7-10 working days."
We'll see what happens!0 -
Received my card after a couple of weeks wait, have just activated it, starting with 5K limit and 0% BT offer (only 6 months).0

Can't understand why people are applying for a 6 month B/T when there's 20+ months on offer elsewhere.0
