Help ! Bought Fake DVD on Ebay

Hi everyone need some quick help -
I bought a 'supposedly' genuine Disney DVD on ebay and as it turns out it is 100% fake ! Therefore I obviously want my money back however should I be opening a paypal dispute ?
I read somewhere that the onus is on the buyer to prove the item in question is fake ?! Therefore is this true ? And how would I do this ?
I will thank all helpful replies :T

Open a dispute, probably easier with eBay as you sometimes get a no fault refund. However you might want someone who is better with dealing with fakes to confirm that.I’m a Forum Ambassador and I support the Forum Team on the eBay, Auctions, Car Boot & Jumble Sales, Boost Your Income, Praise, Vents & Warnings, Overseas Holidays & Travel Planning , UK Holidays, Days Out & Entertainments boards. For fakes you want to open a case with eBay as then the seller has to prove its real. Also make sure you state counterfeit goods as then eBay may issue the refund without you having to return it.S.P.C member 1662 - target £3000

couldnt you possibly take it to a disney store (if you have one close) obviously if you can see its fake they should be able to aswell and ask them if they could maybe give you a handwritten note on headed paper and upload that if required.0

Only recently noticed one of mine is fake. Only noticed as someone stood up in front of the cinema. Was shrink wrapped and everything.
Too late for me though

I may do this however I would be worried they would confiscate it as its illegal to even have fake goods

This fake is a very good attempt at the real deal but sadly for them I own ALOT of disney dvds therefore the minute I took this one out the envelope I stopped it straight away0 -
I have opened the case but bizarrely before doing so he had replied to one message saying I have offended him and therefore he is revoking his returns policy (he is a business seller) Im not bothered as I was going to go to trading standards as he has sold thousands of these things but the question im asking is ...
... can a business seller actually revoke/refuse a return/refund ?0
