Was in Tesco this afternoon and thought of many more items! Its fine if I just buy them for christmas but the problem is its just so tempting to sneak things like party food & crisps/dips into the weekly shops! Not to mention the mulled wine! Im going to double my vouchers in tesco and buy some finest wine to put away. Order my turkey chippolatas & stuffing from the butchers this year as my first day off will be the weekend...don't fancy the battle to get the last turkey...or at least the last reasonably priced one!0

I love a cheese selection, pate, twiglets, baileys, honey roast cashews, chippolatas, party food (mini treats), duck fat for roasts, stuffing...what food do you really like to buy at christmas time?
Have you been peeking at my shopping list? :rotfl::rotfl: I do like a nice tin of Rose or Quality street too, and a choc orange

I've got nectar points and an m&s voucher. We will get a gammon joint but other than that it's snacky treats we like. Popcorn, crisps, nuts, choccies, crackers and dips and jars of antipasti. Baileys although I had a bottle last year as a gift so we'll use that. We will get profiteroles as they were my late dh's favourite. That's Christmas pudding.Bossymoo

DH has a thing about cheese footballs. I don't get it myself but we have them in the cupboard stashed for when Christmas has arrived
I always have ham and pickles (this is the first year that I've made my own in pretty jars so looking forward to parading them out), at least 2 different types of cheese, a little port, Baileys (I only drink it at Christmas), LOTS of Christmas tree chocolates, nuts in their shells, 'chips n dips' and of course...satsumas
I'm off now to make myself some snacks
Just had to edit to include sprouts - I really do love them!Final cigarette smoked 02/01/18
