All year I save my nector, tesco and M&S points all year and use them for xmas treats. I love a cheese selection, pate, twiglets, baileys, honey roast cashews, chippolatas, party food (mini treats), duck fat for roasts, stuffing...what food do you really like to buy at christmas time?

Hi
this thread is going to make me peckish!
For us it would be after eights, matchmakers, schloer, big tub of Jacobs crackers, selection of olives, Stilton wedge, and hubby likes having a selection of Iceland type party things in case people pop in (well that's what he says).
Nom nom !

It wouldn't be Christmas in our house if we didn't have a genuine Italian made Pannetone and a Stollen with a generous amount of marzipan through the middle. Last years was made in Dusseldorf - bought at Leeds Continental Xmas market - and it was absolutely delicious!"If you dream alone it will remain just a dream. But if we all dream together it will become reality"0

Seconded on the matchmakers. Cadbury's chocolate mini rolls, chocolate fingers (any one sensing a theme here?)
Port and cheese, those nice hovis shaped crackers, and a large boiling ham to pick at every time you walk through the kitchen. Mulled wine permanently on the go. Now I'm starting to sound like an alcoholic chocaholic. All shall be well, and all shall be well, and all manner of things shall be well.

Well this is the first year since my early teens that I am not having to cook xmas dinner it will feel so strange having someone else cook! So I am going to stock up on plenty of nibbles, dip selection with cheesy breadsticks, wenslydale cheese with cranberries to have with crackers and pickles, and definitely a cooked ham with a yum jar of picccalili, as well as every chocolate under the sun
