halifax balance tranfer and spending..

Hi this might be a silly question but i am worried about making a silly mistake, i have just got a halifax credit card with 15 month 0% balance tranfers, and 15 months on spending.

so if i did a balance tranfer for £1000, can i keep on spending on the card and still get 0 % on spending..for 15 months..

I am only asking because everyone says you shouldn't spend on a balance tranfer card.

Please can someone advise me,cheers..

The exception to the rule is where the 0% applies to both BTs and purchases for the same length of time.

The answer to your question is yes.

The reason "everyone says you shouldn't spend on a balance tranfer card" is because, 9 times out of 10, the 0% periods are unequal...as o4u alluded to in his reply.
