Sainsbury's refund card

  • Erm, how does that prove when you bought it? :rotfl:

Admittedly it doesn't prove when exactly they bought the cheese. However it does prove they bought it recently (or, strictly in terms of the SoGA, within 6 months which is what counts).

No it doesn't, It gives an idea of how old the cheese is but it gives no proof of purchase, The cheese could have been stolen or found.

In this case sainsburys did more than they legally had to.

It has a use-by date on it; and it was within date.[/

that doesnt prove when you bought it tho. you could have put a hole in it yourself and then took it back when it went mouldy. If you practically live there then i really dont see why your getting upset about having £3 refunded onto a card. I do most of my shopping at asda, if i needed a refund and they put it on a card i wouldnt care less as i would probably spend it within a week anyway.

Most cheese isn't ready until it is well past the use by date!

I think the surest sign that intelligent life exists elsewhere in the universe is that none of it has tried to contact us.

One important thing to remember is that when you get to the end of this sentence, you'll realise it's just my sig.
