£400 Cheaper Gym Loophole: Works for Cannons/JJB Gyms PROBLEM

I rang Pruhealth today to try and activate my free 6 month gym membership and was told that the Canons gym I wanted had blocked any further free memberships, as had most of the other Canons gyms in London. I bought my policy at the end of Feb, when I checked that the gym I wanted was participating, and was told I had until the end of April to activate the free membership. Pruhealth then informed me that I would still be able to join the gym I wanted, but that I would have to pay £25 per month. I am taking this further and making a complaint, pointing out that if the arrangement between Pruhealth and Canons has changed it should not affect the deal that I was promised when I took out the policy and that Pruhealth should pick up the tab. I'm waiting for them to get back to me and will post how it goes.
If anyone else is having a similar problem please let me know so we can apply some communal pressure on Pruhealth to fulfil the commitments they make in their incentives.
