Ok, so Hubby and I had a big chat again last night and we've decided that the PPI money should go to my Next account, even though this is not the highest APR debt we have, it has a higher % repayment, so paying £655 off it will 'free up' around £70 a month to snowball onto other things.£2013 in 2013 £866.71/£2013

i cant imagine how angry you are at your husband spending it all on himself. thats incredibly selfish.
you are doing great though & seems sensible to put your ppi to good use.

You're soooo close to debt freedom, it must be exciting! Good luck with keeping your OH on the straight and narrow, sounds like it's hard work!

Hi Been, Thanks for stopping by!
Wow, what a month! A lot of things have been decided/happened:
1. My PPI money is going straight to my Next account (still waiting for the cheque), but I might spend a little as a treat.
2. We've both decided that it would be better for us if I didn't go back to work after my maternity leave ends. It's pushed our DFD back to Sept 2015, but we've rather spend the weekends together as a family than me working while hubby is off.
3. We've managed to get a 0% BT card (well hubby has) with a decent enough credit limit that we've been able to clear two CC's. It's 0% for 12 months so should give us plenty of time for some snowballing!
4. Hubby got a 3% pay rise!
5. Some repairs to the car yesterday seem to have set us back £414, but if it means we can keep the car a year longer than we were planning to then it's worth having done.
6. Managed to pay off nearly £1k off our debt in a month!
That reminds me I must redo the SOA next week once the BT's go through and the old cards are cleared. And I've still got loads of stuff to get on ebay, I've currently got a jumper on with 29 watchers but only 2 bids! It's got a few days to go yet, so I'm hoping people with start bidding!
Oh better go, DD2 has just woken up! See you later!£2013 in 2013 £866.71/£2013
