I've received a letter back from Egg about my PPI. Apparently they need confirmation of my address as I have moved - I might have moved since I took out the loan but I'm sure they have sent me letters to this address! And also they need proof of my surname, so I need to get a copy of my marriage certificate - great more expense just when I don't need it! Oh well, potentially I might get more back.
Minimum payment to cap 1 has gone out, don't know if I'm going to be able to pay any more til next month but at least I'm keeping them happy!
I had to do exactly the same thing! I sent them a copy of my credit report that showed all my addresses and the settled Egg loan. I wanted to get it anyway so it served two purposes:xmastree:POMDB Xmas 2013 Board - Paid off £12k in 2012 :j:j :xmastree:

Oh well, I can't even get into the electricity meter as the lock on the box seems to have seized up! Will ask hubby to do it when he gets home from work, not ideal as it will be dark but I guess he'll just have to use a torch!£2013 in 2013 £866.71/£2013

Morning Choclover,
I am in a similar situation to you. I have so many extra bills to pay out this month that I won't make any dent in my Overdraft.
I am trying to think positive that if I get these big extra bills paid this month, then I can start fresh in January and start seeing us climb out of the OD.
Maybe you can think the same way.
Hope you are having a good day today. Should be a NSD for me hopefully, what about you?.

Hi StressedSteph, yes I do see it like that too. The trouble is January seems like such a looooong month. I've been reviewing our budgets up until March next year and I think we'll be able to some serious headway starting at the end of December and I'm starting to think really positive about the coming year.
To be honest most days for me are NSD's, I very rarely have any cash on me and generally only buy stuff when it's included in the weekly shop. Tomorrow's going to be a bit costly as we need to get DD1 some new school shoes.£2013 in 2013 £866.71/£2013

What a busy week!
It started with the exhaust on the car going again (only got it fixed in March), luckily it was still covered under warranty but needed another part to be also replaced, costing £60.
I've not been able to do anymore ebaying just recently as I don't seem to have the time! Most of the xmas presents are now bought, some xmas cards have been written out, dd1's clothes for school play are sorted too.
The car insurance has been sorted and the tax, so it's just contents left.
Annoyingly, OH has got a new cc, with 0% purchases for 3 months so he's put the BNPL thing that was due this month on that, which has helped out a bit but I was all for struggling again this month just so it's paid off. It's got a shockingly high APR once the 0% has finished so it will be paid off buy then. However, it does mean that later in the month when we get paid again we can pay off one of the capital 1 cards with the intention of cancelling it!£2013 in 2013 £866.71/£2013

Haven't posted for a while, but have been busy or though it doesn't look like it! All insurances and the car tax has now been sorted. We've made a few payments and have managed to clear one of the Capital 1 cards completely :j

It shows a slight improvement, mainly due the car insurance coming down. Have also received a cheque from old energy supplier, though don't get too excited it's only for £17! Just need to go into town to bank it. Still need to get loads of stuff on ebay, but I have done the reply to egg for the PPI claim and I've sent one off for the OH too.
Hubby is really getting into this cashback malarkey, think he's got £60 at the mo, although it's not yet payable.
I probably won't post again til the new year, so Merry Christmas everyone and a happy new year!

Great news about the bingo and the PPi.
Am presuming the bingo was'nt a scary internet gambling Bingo site and just a nice village hall type Bingo?.
Keep posting us updates xxx0 -
Thanks teatime and stressedsteph, I'm still waiting for the cheque so it's giving me sometime to think about what I'm going to do with it. Obviously I want to pay as much off of our debt as poss, but it would be nice for treat too and there are some things we need for the house. It's all I can think about at the moment, and then of course I'll have to wait for the cheque to clear! Grrrr!
Unfortunately the bingo win was with a well known website, and he has spent it all - ON HIMSELF!!! Double grrrr!!!! I told him when he won that I would be disappointed if he spent it all, but I'm fuming he didn't spend anything on me or kids!£2013 in 2013 £866.71/£2013
