It depends how much you need as the Tubs are different sizes.

Either way i'd stick with the Unibond Brand. :)

yes i agree with the unibond brand but i would go for the self mix bags , its much cheeper and works better than the ready made tubs from the diy shops:cool:

Most Pros use BAL, available from Screwfix, DIY and tile stores but Unibond is as good.

B&Q Cerafix is made by Henkel, who also make Unibond. Cerafix is about £10 a large tub wheras Unibond is about £25. I've used both and can't tell the difference so buy the own brand stuff. When you buy it remember that in practice you will get about half the coverage claimed on the pack.

As far as grout goes, always use a powered one, not ready mixed. Unibond is good. Don't use all in one adhesive and grout unless you like yellow grout and hours of cleaning tiles!

powdered cement and grout is the way to go. I use all BAL stuff, and mainly the flexi type

Just finishing off my bathroom now.......was concerned about what type to use also as in places I had to tile over old glazed tile

Used all bal myself on floor and walls......quite expensive though but it supposed to be good stuff (Bal Single Part flexible) £20-£25

Ordered online from trades direct .......half the price of topps tiles!!
