I could not believe this. I was looking through the job vacancies on the site of a well known recruitment agency - Page Personnel, and came across this:
About our client: A successful organisation who are a market leader in there sector.
I hate to think what would happen if they tried to rework someone's CV for a job interview!
I should also point out, that "organisation" is a single entity, so it should read: "organisation which is a market leader "

Your usual recruitment rep stands or falls on results (fees). How they get there is of little interest to the company.0

I've dealt with several job agencies before that have sent me emails so poorly written that I've had to call them up to ask them what on earth they were talking about.0

I work for an Agency and am on long-term assignment at a massive multi-sector company. If you think the Agency recruiters are bad spellers, you should see some of the emails I receive from senior management.
The best one was an email pointing-out that when emailing vendors, every effort should be made to check spelling and grammar.
The email contained not one single capital letter, no punctuation marks, 6 spelling mistakes and 4 grammatical errors.
And this from a Degree qualified manager.0 -
I remember signing up for a certain agency and was being given a spiel about how they prided themselves on how they did everything perfect, all of the time. I was then given an induction booklet that was full of mistakes, including the name of the company 'Office Angles'0
