Complaint to ntl - how to get them to act?

Can anyone advise me please? I am sick and tired of asking ntl to change our number - they have agreed to do it and promised us 4 times over the last month that it will be done "in the next few days" - but nothing happens.

In desperation I am going to write to the Chief Exec (if i can get the name and address) but would like some advice on what I can do to make them take notice. I can't really threaten to leave as we have a pretty good deal with them, but they have promised and promised to do this and nothing ever happnes. Can I state that I will charge them £10 a week for every extra week we have to wait? Or can anyone suggest something else?

Please help...
