Has anyone used their giftcard yet? I received mine in the post today however if you go to the website to check the balance it displays as £0.00, same if you call up the giftcard balance phone line.
I was planning on using mine tomorrow towards a new TV but if it turns out the money hasn't be loaded onto the card correctly i'm going to be annoyed as my closest Currys branch is an hours drive away...
Just wondered if any other winners had any issues with using their card?Now a proud home owner after saving a deposit for 2 years :j0 -

Just been up to my nearest Currys. Turns out the website was correct, there has never been any money placed on the giftcard I won.
No new TV for me now

Ninnut85 that's dreadful have you emailed them and explained.
I mailed the email address listed on the back of the letter that came with my card, never got a reply from them.
I called up the gift card line and they told me the card had never been topped up and gave me another number to call which seemed to be the "knowhow" repair desk.
I rang that and they asked me why was I calling them as I needed to speak to the giftcard help line.
After 5 mins of trying to explain i'd already spoken to them and my situation the guy on the phone had to go and speak to his manager as he had no idea what to do.
He then logged me a "call" and said it would go through to the promosions department who would contact me with 48 hours.
3 days later, still no phone call so I decided to try just send an email explaining my situation the the generic standard email address listed on the Currys website.
Next morning I had an email back from someone from the Currys help desk apologising for the mistake stating it was due to a system error and they had now put the money onto my gift card.
Thankfully it turned out ok but I was sure at one point i wasn't going to get my winnings.Now a proud home owner after saving a deposit for 2 years :j0 -
