You have received goods that have not been paid for. You cannot return the goods in an unused condition so you have to pay the supplier. I would get the funds to them sharpish otherwise they may decide to take legal action to recover the money. This will trash your credit rating.
As a suggestion as part of your monitoring of your accounts set up a spreadsheet and record everything on there and reconcile it to your bank statement. If you had done this then you wouldn't have spent the money that was to pay for the flooring. Reminds me of the person who assumed because there were cheques in their cheque book there must be money in the bank!0
