Definetly dried up,but for a while now,more than a month or 2
Shame really,it seems to be the same stuff like that pigsback crap,or quidco,or survey that or fill this in,
Come on peeps get digging0 -
Well i dont think pigsback etc is crap! me and my OH have recieved £60 worth of vouchers in the past couple of months for not spending a penny so i call that a good freebie! same goes for other survey sites, ive been doing well on some of them again not even spending anything.
We cant expect companies to always be handing outs loads of new samples, esp when some people abuse the system. they give out samples for us to try, to then see if we'll buy that product again-however many ppl send off for them for the sake of it, not evening considering buying in future.
Ive been happy with any freebies ive recieved, and dont complain if the offers stopped/expired...or if nothing new has appeared for a few weeks, im just gratefull when they do offer us things to try.
As for duplicate posts, some ppl dont realise you can search the boards/are new etc. the spammers annoy me, with freebies that dont exist!
Rant over! lol.

I agree with keelykat - we've never spent one penny at Pigsback and all anyone need do is look at the "What Freebies have you received today" thread here to see how much we've had.
Same goes for the surveys.
As I think I said before, if you look at the "What Freebies..." thread you get a better view that there is plenty still happening.0 -

no probs, non-internet ways i get freebies:
i get a free paper every day on the bus (and another one if im in manchester)
i always buy TMF's or MBG's in the supermarket
i get lots of free samples from beauty counters just by asking
i always ring up/ write a letter if i have a complaint and always get back more than what i paid for the item
i get free stuff for particlar events etc. from companies by writing to them and asking for it (e.g. all teh stuff ive been donated for LitaBury which is especially good as its for charity and will benefit everyone who comes to teh day)
i get free coupons from Asda or Tesco mags
i go to free shoppign evenings/ special events days in shops where you get goodie bags for free, free food and other stuff
i go to shopping centres when they have roadshows giving out various items for free
i go to free conferences and shows at Gmex where you get free goodie bags and other items
i get into nightclubs for free by going early on their student nights

I definitely do - I can't always get on as often as I used to - and was originally on here every night, but now I'm lucky if I can get onto MSE once a fortnight. I tend to go through 10 pages or so to see if I've missed anything.
When I first found this forum I went right through the ENTIRE freebies section - took me about 3 weeks to do.
I do agree though, things have certainly dried up in the way of freebies - perhaps the companies are getting wise to more people signing up for the offers.

I've been applying for freebies for years, and it always seems to be this time of year. Things will start to pick up again soon
Also, a lot of it is that after a wile you've applied for the freebies before. But when you first started, you hadn't, so could apply for anything and everything. Now you can only apply for the new ones, so it appears there's less but there isn't really. And perhaps you're also being more selective in your freebie applications, or because you've had a few big ones you don't get so excited over the small things that you do get.Murphy's No More Pies Club #209
