Does anyone else think the Freebies have cooled off abit?

Options
Just wondering if anyone else has noticed the Freebie's board has dried up a bit? A month ago I was getting loads of freebies through the post everyday - now nothing:confused:

All the posts seem to be duplicate (more than ever) and it's really annoying. Sorry to point this out again but people do need to be really really careful when posting a freebie.:D

I think the amount of uncalled for abuse when someone accidentally posts a duplicate freebie may put people off posting. It certainly makes me think twice. Also, sometimes I have missed a thread and am grateful for a second post. I would like to thank all who post freebies on this site -me and my family love them!! and they save us a fortune.

Out of interest, with over 280 pages of freebies to look at, what page do people stop at when looking? Does anyone go passed....... say page 4!

OP is on about more than one thread that relates to a freebie, ie lucozade, Loreal Anti Dandruff, McDonalds monopoly, oyster card
I know that the search is not always that good depending on which phrase you search for, and when you do find a new freebie you are keen to post it, but the duplicates don't seem to get merged so much these days.
Pointing out a duplication to someone without upsetting them or causing arguments is one hell of a problem as it is so easy to mis-read a post and take offense where none was intended.
And yes, there does not appear to be many good freebies at present.

Well put Bones, When youre not actually able to see someone's face or hear their voice its very easy to misunderstand written text......then again, I reckon some people are just unmistakeably, quite deliberately rude ...
