closing credit card accounts

hello all you wise people:cool:
I have just managed to balance transfer my 3 cards onto one for 0% for next 23mths-thats great but what do I do with the 3 cards when the balances are clear. Is it best to shut these accounts or just leave them empty.

in any event don;t 'close' them for a month or two in case there is any trailing interest.
otherwise it depends upon your situation; personally I pay virtually everything with a credit card and pay in full each month so i would always want 3/4 cards (this allows one to benefit from cashback/rewards and gives section 75 protection
however, if you find it difficult to manage cards and pay in full each month then probably best to close them0
