See I made a thread a week or so back about getting a shotgun license.

Even after a week people are spamming in my thread talking about guns. If they want to talk about it, make their own thread/post in the relevant thread.

Mods need to be more stricter on spam IMO.

Indeed they do, but as MSE doesn't have moderators you may have quite a long wait.

MSE has a forum team dedicated to reviewing reports and general maintenance. These are still moderators, albeit not in the usual vein.

How very dare they? I'm shocked and appalled.

That reminds me, I haven't been out with my air rifle in a while. I really should but it's so wet at the moment. Still, should be good for the price of fish.
  • I agree that SPAM has to be eradicated, but I posted a legitimate link to a fantastic deal and it got deleted. I only joined the forum today (I normally just read the posts) but already I'm peeved off. Pity, as I tend to find some pretty good deals around the interweb. It has put me off sharing tips with others.

When you join, and then immediately post something you saw that looked like a 'fantastic deal,' then it does seem a hell of a lot like you're just posting to advertise a company, a product or a service. Maybe you mean well, but it does look (to some) like you're just promoting. If you're genuine, then stick around.
