Hi there, just got accepted with a Vanquis card, however when they phoned i asked them which credit buerus do they report to. They said Experian and Equifax, however to my knowledge aren't there 3 beaurus?
I have heard somewhere if a credit card doesn't report to all 3 then that credit card is worthless. Is this the case and could someone shed some light on this.
Thank you

The third CRA Callcredit is very rarely used by lenders so i wouldn't worry to much.0

Vanquis report to the third one, Call Credit. My Vanquis card (well, technically Granite) appears on my Noddle (run by Call Credit) report.
Reporting to the credit reference agencies is a side-effort of using a credit card, not the reason for doing so.
What is it with people and their obsession to improve their credit report so they can borrow more money?
When did borrowing become a goal in life? No wonder these forums are brimming with folk who are up to their armpits in debt.0 -

Totally understand where you're coming from. I've kinda never borrowed anything substantial, however I got 'screwed' over by NEXT as they decided to charge me without me informing me (details in my other thread).
I'm just trying to rebuild my credit as i'd like to get a mortgage some day (only in my early 20's). I hate the idea of a credit card - but unfortunately this is the only way to realise my goal.0
