Could you get rid of the Megane and run the Classic instead?
You could get limited mileage Classic Insurance and, depending on age, £0 VED.0 -

Are you sure you want to?
If you do then sacrifices need to be made in order to do it.
I don't particularly want to buy Aldi crisps (i'm a walkers gal) but at over 16k in the red i HAVE to......
I understand where your coming from, if it came to it, we would get rid of 1.
However my car is 13 years old, even though its a decent car prob wouldnt get much for it. And if we had 1 car it would mean my hubby would be stuck in when I work weekends and I would be stuck in, in the week. Plus I do extra shifts at work sometimes while hubbys at work0 -

Well my reasoning was it doesnt cost me much. Insurance is £199 a year, Tax is £220 and dont fill it up very often0 -
Hubbys daughter is 13
Oh doesnt want to go on a meter, currently changing gas and electric
£20 a month on haircuts might be less. Oh and Son cost £17 for them both every 2-3 months. I pay £35 every 6 months
Fuels a guess need to check. I do around 4k miles a year and Hubby does around 10k a year. Dont really want to cut down to 1I understand where your coming from, if it came to it, we would get rid of 1.

It's not just a case of how much you'd get for it ..... it's saving the running costs - however small ..... every penny helps!
I'm afraid I agree with Sista if you really want to clear the debts then unfortunately some things have to go / be cut back on - and unfortunately having 3 cars just isn't feasible just now so .... either the classic one hasa to go or the 2nd car which is getting used less
Do you live in the middle of nowhere?
If not, there should be something for both of you to do without a car and public transport available within walking distance (and I mean within around 3 miles when I say this).Grocery Challenge £211/£455 (01/01-31/03)
2016 Sell: £125/£250
£1,000 Emergency Fund Challenge #78 £3.96 / £1,000Vet Fund: £410.93 / £1,000

How old is ur child? am presuming not of school age as it looks like u are splitting child care between u?
Other child related expenses............ 20 whats this for
Savings for Son.........................20 i would also stop this for now anyway...
Oh doesnt want to go on a meter, currently changing gas and electric why doesnt he want to go on a meter, top ups can be done from home and u are always in credit... id never switch to anything else now to be honest far easier to budget......LBM April 2012.... DMP with Payplan July 2012DFD March 2018 :j0 -
That means £35 at least extra off the debt bringing your DFD a little closer.....
When you're solvent you will have the right mindset to save rather than spend. You can then save and buy another car if you need to. Rising is right, 3 cars when you're 12k in debt just isn't feasible.....DEBT FREE AND PROUD'Better to remain silent and be thought a fool than to speak out and remove all doubt'0 -
On checking the last 2 months statements. Food seams to be correct at arround £300 a month, We shop at Tesco mainly and use local butcher and farm shop once or twice a month. We keep meaning to try Aldi
Petrol is a little high. Think its closer to £100 a month. And will be cheeper this month as have some 50p of a litre vouchers0 -

Hes 7. I work a couple of evenings and Weekends. I also do extra hours 9:30-2:30 while hes at school 25-30 hours a week in total, However im only getting paid for 18 hours at the mo, without going into to much detail ive been of sick Since July with a life threatning illness, im much better now but feel pretty ill from the side effects of the drugs im on (only got to take for 6 more months). Im going back to work in the next couple of weeks but wont be doing as many hours as normal for a few months.
£20 is for my son Beavers and he goes Skiing on the dry slope
I like to put a bit away for him each month. He has quite a few thousand for when hes older allready
I ment he doesnt want to go on a water meter. He uses the hose for the garden and to wash the cars0
