If oil priced in dollars??

If oil is priced in dollars & the £ has soared to over 2$ can we expect our exhorbitant petrol prices to tumble??

Should I hold my breath?

Perhaps there's something I do not understand, can anyone shed some light?

Mike

Yep things can only get worse, prices seem to be rising about 1p every few weeks now. Look forward to seeing the magic 100.9p/litre somewhere near you soon.

Since the start of the year crude oil has gone up in price by nearly 30% whereas the dollar has only devalued by about 4%.

So it's obvious why pump prices have gone up.
  • Thanks for shedding the light wolvoman.
