Send them a formal Letter Before Action recorded delivery then issue Small Claims Court papers if that's what they really want! Simple.

They are unlikely to claim off their insurance for something like this, corporate Public Liability insurances tend to have massive excesses.
Ultimately just because they own it doesnt mean they are automatically liable for any damage that is cause by it. You need to prove, on the balance of probability, that they have been negligent and the damage is as a result of that negligence.0 -

Hi All
Just to update this thread, after a lot of battling, phone calls backwards and forwards, and insurance investigators visiting my house. Virgin agreed to pay the claim, and I received the cheque today.
So I am happy I can put my car right now, and put all this behind me!0 -
