anyone missing tax credits this month

I have not recieved any tax credits for the last two weeks, i am phoning them continually and geting different responses everytime. The most common esponse is that although an award is showing the payment schedule hasnt been set up. I have been told by some that i may get a giro and by others that it will be backdated but noone seems to know what timescale we are looking at all the while my overdraft is getting bigger. Is anyone else experiencing similar problems and what are they being told. I am phoning them every day and they must be getting sick of me. I am told head office is looking at it but they wont give me a phone number for head office, does any one know of any other numbers to ring.

Sorry this may not help much but it happened to me once. I went to local TCO in town and they sorted a giro tp be cashed at post office. Warning though they will only issue a weeks payment at once, one cheque per week and PO are very fussy over id requirements.

Next time you phone, make sure a referral has been sent to TCO.

If one has, then your schedule will be set back up. You will be backdated.
The backpayment will not be paid by GIRO if you're usually paid by bacs.

It was probably caused by the system upgrade last week.
The advisors are feeling in the dark themselves I reckon.

I've only had child tax credits this month and no working tax credits :( I've rung several times and they said it should be sorted by the end of next week!!
