Snowballing Charges

Hi,

I'm in the process of reclaiming my bank charges from Halifax and currently waiting for an outcome. However, because of the charges, it's left us with less and less money each month creating a snowballing effect. Since my original letter, they have charged us a few hundred pounds more which is simpley making it impossible to catch up.

Questions:

Does anyone know if I can add these to the original charges?

Can I ask the bank to suspend the charges to allow us to catch up or will this be seen as mismanaging the account and give them the edge?

Help!
Diane
