You got this week's lottery numbers? :rotfl:
Lol, after 14 my friend, I don't think luck has anything to do with it. To be honest, I did have a new Uno Turbo back in 1989 in which the turbo seized after just a month old. Obviously it was dealt with under warranty but I did have to wait for a replacement unit as it's not something a dealer carries in stock.
But that is the only problem I have had. Currently I have (from new) a 2000 Punto HGT which has done just 67k miles. Still drives like new and everything still works as it should.PLEASE NOTEMy advice should be used as guidance only. Are you trying to bankrupt your mate?
A 5 year old £50k car will still have the running costs of a £50k car as several posters previously said.
Post #2 he buys a 2 year old car for £11k. I wait until that cars 6 years old and 100,000+ miles and i pay £2000 ish for it.
I keep it for 3 - 5 years and then sell it for just under half what i paid.
