links not working

in Techie Stuff
suddenly my email isn't working properly, when any of my email has a highlighted link i.e. plenty in the MSE email, when I click on the link nothing is happening?!

I had a similar problem with my email client. I use Thunderbird, but it might still apply to Outlook.
As with you, it was ok one day, but gone the next.
Had to re-associate the URL:Hytpertext Transfer Protocol file type with Internet Explorer.
This page has instructions on how to do this:

For me, editting the open action didnt work, but deleting and re-creating the "open" action did.0 -

I got as far as the actions - open - edit but nothing happens so I cn't check the rest of the info required0 -

I seem to remember the same thing happened to me. I had to hi-lite open, and click remove instead.
Then did "New" typed "open" as the action and chose internet explorer as the application. (Browsing to C:\program files\internet explorer\iexplore.exe)
Then just okayed everything.0 -

thanx for trying anyway but I could't get it to work - just said couldn't find file application or some such0 -

this morning rec'd on mse some advice I was asking for & it included a hyperlink which I clicked out of habit without thinking & it worked - it came back silently as it had disappeared - weird!!0
