Sold an item to a German buyer problems

A German buyer won my item even though I say 'uk only' in my listing. I have sent it and did not track or insure because it was under £46. 30 days later the buyer is saying item not received. Without contacting me first, a case has now been opened on the ebay Germany site. I cant understand what it says. What should I do? Just refund and wait for the case to close? Thanks

if you refund case will automatically close. try freetranslations.com to try and translate
  • Thanks. I just went into my paypal and tried to refund but it just says the money is on hold and wouldn't let me do anything. How else can I refund? Just got an all capslock message with lots of exclamation marks from buyer wanting money back.

How on earth can they expect it to turn up "in just a few days"?

Post the German on here, and in the mean time, respond to the case saying "Buyer only purchased the item a few days ago, so it's very unfair for a dispute to be opened when it's too early for the item to have arrived."
Should've = Should HAVE (not 'of')
Would've = Would HAVE (not 'of')

No, I am not perfect, but yes I do judge people on their use of basic English language. If you didn't know the above, then learn it! (If English is your second language, then you are forgiven!)

call paypal and ask why the payment is on hold....could be a chargeback
  • It might be an idea to change your buyer requirements as well..
That way if you don't want to post to certain places they can't bid.

Stating terms like UK only, Is no good if you dont use the features there to actually block non uk bidders.

You can say by bidding and winning this 99p item you agree to pay me £1000.

    But it wont hold water.
