I am not sure if you are serious or not £20 per week for all the effort involved in food preparation/cooking/purchasing the ingredients/energy use and your time is far too low. Why are you so keen to be chained to the kitchen sink on the hour, 24/7?

Can lodger not get their own b/fast? Todays lodgers go out more and eat out more often, unlike Mr Rigby's Rising Damp lodgers of old.

What you want to charge will hardly buy you a cheap evening out for one. One pizza @ Pizza Express - low to average restaurant - will set you back including a glass of wine around £18.00.

This lodger is getting a bargain!
