Hi
Has anyone been to Story Book Glen near Aberdeen, we are thinking of taking our two aged 4 & 1 this summer. Is it any good? We live in Paisley so don't want to travel all the way if it is a bit rubbish lol!!!

yes it is nice, but is is basically a big park with nursery rhyme models that you walk around and see.
imho not really worth all that time in the car unless you are in the area anyway. Sorry.
I'd go to Kilmarnock to the Dean Park farm animals display, or something similar,- our dd loved that when she was a toddly beastie:D Better than a walk round the park for an hour then back into the car.
Loudon Castle has some nice rides for 4yo, and maybe a few things that 1yp would be allowed on. around 11 a head entry.Member of the first Mortgage Free in 3 challenge, no.19
Balance 19th April '07 = minus £27,640
Balance 1st November '09 = mortgage paid off with £1903 left over. Title deeds are now ours.0 -

I would agree that its really not worth a long trip. I used to take my dd was she was little and I was visiting my parents. Good for a picnic on a Sunnny day. It could do with some more interactive activities for the children.0
