    It gets better!

    Blue screen of death last night as well now.

    Going to try taking out 1 stick of memory at a time and see if that's the issue.

    Bloody computers.

    Problem finally solved, Sata controller was set to IDE and not AHCI as it should have been in the BIOS.

    Now have a very shiny and fast machine.
    Helping the country to sleep better....ZZZzzzzzzz
