Blue screen of death last night as well now.
Going to try taking out 1 stick of memory at a time and see if that's the issue.

Problem finally solved, Sata controller was set to IDE and not AHCI as it should have been in the BIOS.
Now have a very shiny and fast machine.Helping the country to sleep better....ZZZzzzzzzz0
