Annoying buyer

Sold an item on Sunday night for around the £40 - the buyer has still not paid. I sent them an invoice and then today I messaged asking if they still wanted the item to which they replied yes they still want it and they will be paying at the weekend. Is it me or does that take the mick a but to buy an item without first messaging the seller and expect to wait a week before paying? Not really sure what to do, do I just have to wait until they make the payment or do I open a NPB dispute tomorrow? I didnt really want to have to wait until the weekend especially as I cant be certain that they will pay. They have a recent neg and neutral as a seller for not responding and not posting out items. Don't really know what to do - any advice would be welcomed!

All you can do is open the case tomoro ...

Then you will have to wait another 4 days anyway to see if they pay before you can close the case and re-list.

Some buyers do take the mick and use the maximum ammount of time to pay...
But in the world of ebay the harsh reality is some buyers will use the full 8 days if they want...

I did have one wait until a minute before I could close the case to pay once

Thank you, really does take the mick, I bet they did that just to annoy you! It is frustrating to have to wait when the buyer may never pay for the item. I put it on a 1 day listing for a reason. Oh well, I guess I will just have to wait!
  • Obviously dont forget you run the risk of annoying the buyer and get bad feedback and stars, but that's ebay for you :o

When I sell I always open a case on day 4 if not paid anyway.
