Current credit cards...

Hi all, I've posted here once before when I had 2 credit cards, now that's down to 1 with £200 left come the 30th November.
Capital one - £879 paid off in one go. October
Barclays - £200 left on 30th THIS month.
So with only £200 left on a credit card my question is this... as I paid off my Capital one card in one go, I presume my credit rating will get slightly better? Going through a credit check tomorrow.
I'm trying to buy my first car & i'm worrying about whether or not I'll be accepted on car finance. Other things I have
I have a TV on finance buy now pay 9 months later which is next June which my sister is covering the cost of that as that's for her. Half of which is in my savings account ready to pay for this. In the past I've had Dell finance payed off over £1000, so the credit history is there.
BT - £40
Phone - £34
Board - £180
Dentist - £13.50 Total = £267.50
I earn around £950 - £1000 each month take home so there's plenty of spare cash there, even after paying for insurance and car finance which I've (pre budgeted)
I've also made one late payment of 5 days recently for my Barclays card because I totally forgot. Presume this won't do much.

Depends if you've allowed enough time for Capital One to update the CRAs with the info that you've paid it off.
Have you checked your credit file at all?0 -
I haven't to be honest, no. Does that normally take up to a month or more?0
