New PC? - Advice Please

I am looking to get a new PC as my one is really slow and done. It runs on XP. It also appears there isn't much memory to it so I think unless I strip it back completely and don't save or download anything at all it would be ok, but I just can't do that. What desktop would you advise me to buy? What should I be looking for…

If you can use a screwdriver, you can fit a module of RAM. 2 or maybe 4 screws to remove the cover, 2 clips to release to fit the RAM, a 10 minute job in total. Plenty of advice on here if you need it.
