I have been having some building work done which has necessitated having the rads drained and refilled. The plumber has worked on my house before and went around rebalancing the system before he left this afternoon. Just as he was leaving I asked him if he had checked the rad in the airing cupboard (which is on the ch circuit).
He had forgotten so we checked and it is still cold while all the rest are fine. It is on the ground floor near the c/h boiler which is a gas combi boiler.
He tried venting it but it still did not heat up so said wait and see if it heats up overnight or I shall have to come back. Now I find the heated towel rail is not working either.
Obviously I can get him back but I should like to use both airing cupboard and towel rail this evening. Both remain cold. Any suggestions ? It is not air in the radiators per se, I have a key and have bled them. All the rest are working fine.

If you have a large house it may take 2-3 days
I would turn off all the other radiators thereby forcing the hot water into the cold radiators.0 -

2-3 days,,,, never, rads should all heat up at the same rate, it could be an airlock on those two rads or the pipes to them, try shutting all the others off and then bleed the two through.
are there TRV's on the rads? these can stick closed, if you take the top housing off you can see the valve "pin" it should be fully out, often a little wiggle is all it needs, other than that could be a blocked pipe but unless it is microbore should be fine.every time I manage to get one more breath into this body, I will sing a song of thanks to you my brothers, my sisters, my friends, may your sleep be peaceful, and angels sing sweetly in your ears.0
