Amazon return

I have just started selling on amazon and have a return request because the buyer didn't read the description (yea, it happens on amazon as well as eBay)
I have authorised the return and amazon have said they will send the buyer a returns label and I should refund upon receipt of the goods. Wll I be charged for the return postage, and how do I pay if there is
Insufficient funds in my account

No the buyer is to fund the returns postage unless you want to pay for it.
The refund will put you in a negative balance (if you don't have any money in your Amazon seller account) and if, at the end of you 14 day pay period, you are still in a neg balance they will debit it from your registered card.0 -
Thanks. The payment for the item is in my account, so I assume amazon wont pay it to my bankYou're only young once, but you can be immature forever

Amazon customers tend to be a fair bit fussier than Ebay's in my experience. The customer could request you pay for the return postage before sending the item. Obviously if item was as described and the fault wasn't yours then you aren't obliged to pay for return postage.
When you file the refund Amazon will take it from your account, if it leaves a negative balance they will take the amount from your credit/debit card..0 -
In the return request the buyer has apologised and said it was their fault as they hadn't read the description properly There must be easier ways to earn a living :rotfl:You're only young once, but you can be immature forever

I keep thinking that too!!! When you find it let me know :rotfl:
It never ceases to amaze me how stupid some people are and how many ridiculous emails we receive. I mean seriously, these people can figure out how to turn their computer on, type a web address, search for something, buy it/pay for it but fail to read the description etc. it would make me laugh if it wasn't so sad and frequent!0
