I have heard that loft insulation 11 inches thick is available for free via a grant situation.

Anyone know about this?

    Yes, free loft and cavity wall insulation has been available for years-where have you been living?
    It's 270m thick. But hurry, because the subsidy will be ending this month.
    No free lunch, and no free laptop ;)

    As I've found, most free insulation offers only apply if you don't have any insulation already.
