Cheap modern PC components - where to find?

Options
What is the best way to find cheap modern (preferably the latest) PC components?

If on-line, then what is the cheapest supplier?

If off-line, then where from?

Ebay is an option, but when it comes to spending over £300-£500 I feel it is not reliable enough (maybe I'm wrong).

If you've got experience of a good PC components/parts supplier (including an ebay seller), selling them at reasonable prices, then please, please, please let me know.

Thanks a lot.

Lots of places fight for the cheapest prices but there is one which stands head and shoulders above the rest for the sheer selection and price is https://www.ebuyer.com

Try the usual suspects, in no particular order.

    Ebuyer
    Dabs
    Komplett
    Novatech
    Scan

To be honest I've never found one place that is significantly cheaper than anywhere else all of the time. It;s just a matter of deciding what you want and then searching for the best price. Also it's worth looking at Quidco, cashback can make a difference sometimes.
It's my problem, it's my problem
If I feel the need to hide
And it's my problem if I have no friends
And feel I want to die

Thanks to all of you for your replies. I knew about ebuyer, and have been using them as and when necessary. I was just wondering if there was another good supplier with better prices than ebuyer.

I wish we could buy PC components at US prices: https://www.newegg.com ........

I buy from scan I used to use dabs but they are both local companies so I just go pick the stuff up untill dabs went all big and decided that they no longer wanted people going to their building and buying stuff. so I now just buy from scan.co.uk order online and go pick it up saving the shipping costs.

Aria.co.uk is also localish in manchester so I have bought from them, most places ow have a daily offers or ebuyers happy hour where you can pick stuff up slightly cheaper so keep an eye out for them. Scan have the weekend offers where you can normally save £20-£40 on the stuff and the stuff on the weekend today only is normally most of the components for a pc, memory hard drives motherboards, cpu's optical drives and sometimes cases.
