Morning all
I've been trying to download Visual Basic Express 2005 from Microsoft (a freebie from Microsoft here)
It downloads the installer which is fine and then tells me I've got Beta, CTP or Tech Preview versions of SQL Server 2005, Visual Studio 2005, or the .NET Framework 2.0 installed which I need to get rid of.
I've tried using their cleanup tool, but all that does it tells me I've got them in a new window and doesn't do a great deal else. If I close the new window, it assk me if I want to quit the process, and when I click OK it just cancels the install.
I've looked through the list of installed programs and can't find any of the above.
Anyone any ideas?

You could try downloading and installing the full version of .net 2.0 from Microsoft.com? That could overwrite whatever is already on there.Current debt in priority order
A&L Credit Card £560
Goldfish Credit Card £1550
HSBC Overdraft £968
Natwest Loan approx £15000
Student Loan £130000 -
I never thought of that. I assumed (stupidly) that I already had the full version. Obciously not.:wall: Flagellation, necrophilia and bestiality - Am I flogging a dead horse? :wall:
