Together insurance is it any good? home insurance

Hi
I got this deal from together insurance I pay 13.45 for 10 months and 2 months free, the excess is 450 quid.
home emergency cover and accidental damage included.

Is it a good deal? Anyone using them?

  • I have been with Together(UIA) for couple of yaers without any problem.
    but i havent made any claim so cant say if they are any good when it comes to claiming, but i have read good reviews about UIA insurance

    How the hell are we meant to know given a) home insurance varies area to area and b) we don't know how much you're being insured for?

    £450 sounds like a very high excess.

    Accidental damage is great but if you knocked over your TV and it's worth £500, it's not going to be worth while claiming.

    Check the home emergency cover for exclusions.
