when i turn on my dell 6400 laptop with vista the desktop appears within maybe 20 seconds , but if i click on a icon it doesnt work so obviously the machine isnt quiet ready
is there a way to tell that the comp is 100% ready and i can start clicking on things

Add the CPU performance meter to the gadgets (on the sidebar) and start using the laptop when you see that the CPU and RAM usage has fallen down to the normal level (or below the red line). That is what I do.Do I want it? ......Do I need it? ......What would happen if I don't buy it??????0
