I need advice about an all in one colour laser printer, for business use.
- 20-30 pages per day
- scanner only used for documents
- not used for photos, just colour documents like leaflets etc
- print double sided
- wireless (to be accessed through different devices)
in a nutshell, a laser version of my hp officejet 6500. maybe a laserjet?
I would like to keep costs down, I'm replacing because of the cost of the cartridges and also because I need water-resistant printing to print labels.
How much would it cost to run a laserjet?
thank you

Personally, I'd investigate the HP Laserjet Pro 400. This is an all-in-one colour laser that does duplex printing.0

Brother DCP 9055CDN Colour Duplex Network the only down side is that the document feeder for the scanner doesn't do double sided scans you have to do this manually.
I bought mine from Amazon for £350 delivered a few months back.0 -
Well it looks like a laser printer is not cheaper than an inkjet, which makes this thread almost redundant...
http://review.techworld.com/sme/3343687/hp-laserjet-pro-400-m451nw-review/?view=review&intcmp=rv-ia-tb-2Compared with similarly priced colour laser printers, the M451nw's per-page costs are decent. Next to business inkjet printers or inkjet MFPs in the same price range, however, they're exorbitant.
The standard black toner cartridge costs £66 and lasts 2200 pages, or 3 pence per page. The cyan, magenta and yellow cartridges cost £95 and last for 2600 pages, or 3.6 pence per page per colour. That makes a four-colour page cost 14.6 pence, a hair below the average for colour lasers.
A high-yield black cartridge available for £81 lasts for 4000 pages, reducing black costs to 2 pence per page. The cartridges that ship with the unit last approximately 1400 pages.0
